Pizza Pasta Bake Ingredients

Weight Watchers Friendly Pizza Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz. penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 lb. 96% lean ground beef
  • 30 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 16 turkey pepperoni
  • Sliced red onion and green pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles until al dente, according to the directions on the box.
  3. Brown the ground beef, remove any grease then add your tomato sauce.
  4. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Stir together and bring to a light simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Drain the noodles and add them to the sauce.
  7. Pour into your casserole dish and top with the shredded cheese.
  8. Then add the turkey pepperoni, green pepper and red onion.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
